Carolyn
sets an example to follow! Involved in many organizations,
she contributes above and beyond the call of duty.
She is an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Her undeniable dedication awarded her Auxiliary
Member of the Year. Carolyn not only serves her
unit, she serves the entire community. You will
find her at the fair volunteering in any way she
can. Set up or tear down, Carolyn is there. In October
each year she is responsible for the success of
the annual blood drive held at the Legion Post.
Carolyn volunteers at Bethlehem Lutheran Church
where you will find her assisting as needed. She
is an active member of Pemberville-Freedom Area
Historical Society, and the Mid Morning Belles Homemakers
Club where she works on the senior council. Otterbein
Portage Valley sees her arrive regularly to visit
with those that are shut in and in need of a smile.
Carolyn spends time with a niece and a nephew that
live near her, along with their children who have
become Carolyn’s adopted grandchildren. Carolyn’s
family, the Village, and its residents recognize
and thank Carolyn for her dedication and service.
