Dale
& Ann (Griffith) Greiser Bruning were married
on August 4, 2001. Dale has three children, Sue,
Carol & Jill. Ann has been blessed with two sons,
Mike, and David, deceased. Together they share
six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Dale is a native of Pemberville. He was born
and raised on the family farm on Alexander Road.
Dale is a World War II veteran and an active member
of the local American Legion Post #183. He is
a graduate of Pemberville High School, and Bowling
Green State University. His accomplishments at
BGSU led him to teaching at Eastwood High School,
where he coached basketball. Bethlehem Lutheran
Church is blessed to have Dale and Ann as active
members. Pemberville-Freedom Area Historical Society
and the Pemberville Public Library benefit from
Dale’s free time. Dale has spent countless hours
researching our village and documenting his findings.
Ann moved to Pemberville in 2001 when she and
Dale were married. A native of Piqua, Ohio, Ann’s
college career took place at the Miami Valley
Hospital School of Nursing, Dayton, Ohio. She
was actively employed as a registered nurse for
many years. She retired from a rewarding career
in 1993. Ann is an active member of Friends of
the Library, Mary Kuhlman’s book discussion group,
Mental Culture Club, Red Hat Society, and Bethlehem
Lutheran Church. Summer finds her enjoying baking
and entering her goods at the fair.
