Baked Goods

Entries in the baked goods class are to be delivered to the Scout Cabin on Tuesday, August 18th from 6pm to 7pm, or Wednesday August 19th from 9am to 12pm. Judging will begin at 2 pm on Wednesday.
Loitering in the building during judging and placement of displays will not be permitted.
All entries should be made from scratch (no box mixes).
All items must be in non-returnable containers and will become the property of the Pemberville Fair Board.
Ribbons for the top three places will be awarded in each category. An over-all Best of Show ribbon also will be awarded in both the Adult and Children's divisions.
An auction of all the baked goods will be held at the Main Stage on Wednesday evening at 8:15 pm.
Ribbons and exhibits must be picked up on Saturday night after 9 pm.

Chairman’s Choice Recipe
Yogurt Pound Cake
1 ½ c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. Baking powder
¼ tsp. Salt
½ c. plain yogurt
3 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
½ c. oil
Stir the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl, set aside. Whisk the eggs, yogurt, oil, and vanilla in another bowl. Gradually incorporate the wet and dry ingredients. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes
